League of Legends Worlds 2026 Host City Just Got Confirmed
Riot confirmed the 2026 World Championship host venues this week — and the multi-city format is the most ambitious Worlds run yet.
Group stage runs in Madrid (October 1-11). Quarterfinals and semifinals split between Tokyo and Seoul (October 17-25). Grand finals at the Tokyo Dome on November 1. Capacity for the final venue is 55,000 — the largest stadium Worlds has used since the 2017 Beijing final.
The multi-city format is partly logistical (no single city has venue capacity for the entire 4-week tournament) and partly strategic (the LCK and LPL fan bases get high-stakes matches in their home regions). It also produces a far more interesting story arc than the single-city format Worlds has used recently.
Pre-sale access opens June 15 for Riot account holders, with general public sales starting June 22. Tokyo Dome final tickets are expected to clear within hours based on the regional pre-registration interest figures Riot shared on the announcement call.
Madrid, Tokyo, Seoul. Three cities, three regions, peak Worlds storytelling. Tokyo Dome final is the can’t-miss esports event of 2026.
